Zen mind, Beginner’s mind
Just a quote saying much more.

I can’t resist! Help!
It is quite difficult for me not to mention my favorite quote. Please allow me to introduce you to Shunryu Suzuki!
- That sounds Japanese to me.
- It is so, indeed.
-Is he a buddhist monk?
-He is.
I’m not a big fan of religion. But we have to remain honest. Sometimes religion is wise. It gives us the wisdomest teachings.
Religion can be full of wisdom & great teachings.
“Zen mind, Beginner’s mind” is the only religious book I choose to read and I’m happy I did.
-Is keeping a beginner’s mind more advantageous?
-Let’s say that it helps. At least for artists and creatives.
A beginner’s mind is forever young. Wouldn't you say so? There are no boundaries! It’s limitless, real limitless! Your mind is like a sponge, right? You are always thirsty for knowledge.
Always listening and showing thirst for more possibilities.“The mind of the beginner is free of the habits of the expert, ready to accept, to doubt, and open to all the possibilities.”
It’s after all more original. If you practice something to perfection, you lose the authentic & original touch! I’ll keep my Virgin Mind if you don’t mind.
It’s all about authentic liberty. If you want to know what freedom is all about, I’d say keep your beginner’s mind and the world will become your oyster.
The world is your secretary. The world is yours to Master. Okay ?
Authentic liberty… It’s boundless and free! Freedom everywhere! It’s originality in feelings after all. When you are working on something, one may want to lose itself in the act. In a sense, what happens, happens. There are no attachement. If you are too attached to the results, there is no appreciation of it. It’s the whole journey that’s interesting, not just the results.
“A wonderful painting is the result of the feeling in your fingers.”
